Dottie

Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound female ready to find her forever home! She's a playful, loyal, and intelligent companion with a goofy personality that's sure to bring laughter and love into your life. Dottie is a true cuddle bug who enjoys spending time by your side, whether she's playing with her favorite rope toys and stuffies or simply relaxing with you. She's also incredibly food-motivated and picks up on training quickly, making her an eager-to-please partner.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can enjoy at least one good walk or play session a day. While she enjoys playtime, she's also a big fan of cuddling. She does best with one or two calm, larger dogs or would be happy as the only pet, receiving all the attention. Dottie would also do best in a home without young males or boys, as she has had a negative experience with them. She is great meeting women and adult men who don't appear youthful.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained, and she settles well when allowed to free-roam. She walks well on leash but can pull and bark when she sees other dogs. She enjoys playing with cats if they engage her.

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
