Josie is a sweet and loving companion who would be a perfect addition to any family. She is a 41 lb Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthday of October 26, 2023. Josie is the ultimate cuddle buddy, enjoying playtime with her toys, snuggling with her foster siblings, sunbathing, and her favorite treat – chicken nuggets! She has been living in a foster home with children and has done wonderfully with them.
Josie has seamlessly acclimated to her foster home, proving to be a well-behaved and eager-to-please pup. She is already potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and knows commands like "sit" and "stay." Being highly treat-motivated, she's excited to continue learning and be a part of your family pack. She gets along well with other dogs, especially playful ones. Snuggling on the couch is a favorite pastime, and she's also happy going for long walks. When she's all rested, her absolute favorite activity is going on car rides – and she's a perfect car passenger!
Josie was rescued from a county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding. She arrived as a neglect case, emaciated and clearly having had a difficult start. She has made incredible progress and is ready to find her forever home.

Transporation
Transport is included in the adoption fee. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates during transport.
