Meet Polly! This sweet 38lb Cattle Dog Retriever mix has the heart of a puppy and the most loving personality. Polly is spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on all her preventatives, making her ready for her forever home! She has a gentle, go-with-the-flow nature and loves to be involved in whatever her people are doing.
Polly absolutely adores toys and playing with other dogs, always ready for a fun game. She's also done well with children aged 6 and up, though we have no previous experience with cats. While Polly enjoys playtime, she's generally a low-energy dog who is just as happy to relax and cuddle as she is to play. She's affectionate and loves being close to her people. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe.
Polly has great house manners and is fully house-trained and crate-trained for up to six hours. She does well in the car and has no issues with resource guarding or food aggression. She's currently working on her leash manners and may pull sometimes, but she's easy to manage and will continue learning with guidance.

Polly will thrive in just about any home and would make a wonderful companion for a family, a couple, or a single person. She would benefit from a patient adopter who is willing to continue guiding her as she learns the rules of home life.

Transporation
Polly is currently located with her foster family. Transports run every few weeks and she will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
