At about a year and a half old, Roscoe is a happy-go-lucky bundle of love who is ready to bring fun, companionship, and plenty of tail wags to his forever family. Weighing in at just over 15 pounds, he's the perfect size for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between. Roscoe has embraced life in foster care with enthusiasm. Living inside is still a relatively new experience for him, but he's doing wonderfully and is a great houseguest when supervised. He knows his name, enjoys spending time with other dogs, and has quickly discovered that toys are one of life's greatest joys-especially squeaky stuffed ones! As a young dog, Roscoe has plenty of energy and loves to play. He's even started learning to retrieve and is always up for a game or an adventure. After all, life is meant to be enjoyed, and Roscoe is determined to make the most of every moment. Roscoe is also incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people. Right now, he sometimes jumps up in his excitement to get a little closer for attention, but he's already working on improving his manners. His eagerness to connect with people is just one of the many things that makes him so endearing.
Ideal Home
Roscoe would love a home where he can continue to learn and grow. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well with a canine sibling.
Ongoing Health
When Roscoe was rescued, he tested positive for heartworms. The good news is that he's almost finished with his treatment and is well on his way to putting that chapter behind him. He's already neutered and looking forward to the bright future ahead of him.
Training & Support
Roscoe sometimes jumps up when he gets excited, but he's working on improving his manners. He is learning to retrieve and enjoys games and adventures.
