Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female, Pointer and Australian Cattle dog mix weighing about 35 pounds. She was rescued from a local shelter after being returned, and we're so glad we could step in to give this deserving girl a second chance. Daisy Sue, affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy," is a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness. She loves zoomies, cuddles, and has a happy-go-lucky attitude that makes every day brighter.
Ideal Home
Daisy Sue would thrive in an active home that can provide daily walks, playtime, or a securely fenced yard for her to explore and burn off energy. She'd love another friendly dog for companionship, as she adores playing with other pups. She'd also do well with children 10 years or older who understand how to interact gently with a shy dog. A calm home with a predictable routine would be ideal, as she can be a bit shy when meeting new people, especially men. While she can be left alone, it's best to pick up shoes as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy Sue is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Daisy Sue is a smart and well-mannered girl! She is fully house-trained with no accidents and walks beautifully on a leash without reacting to dogs, runners, or people. She is also crate-trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at night. Daisy Sue has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares toys and treats. She is very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. While she can be shy initially, with patience and gentle encouragement, she warms up to reveal her affectionate and cuddly nature.
