A little about them
Meet Wren, a smart and affectionate Lab–hound mix puppy with normal puppy energy and a sweet, cuddly personality. She enjoys giving puppy kisses, playing chase and tug of war, sunbathing, and settling at her foster mom’s feet during the workday. Wren is expected to grow to a large size.
Ideal Home
Wren is dog-friendly and has been around toddlers through teens. She is apartment-friendly, and a physical fence is not required with appropriate exercise. Slow introductions to larger dogs would be helpful, as she can initially feel intimidated by them. She is learning to adjust to loud sounds and may experience some car sickness.
Ongoing Health
Wren will be up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. She tends to get a little car sick, as many puppies do.
Training & Support
Wren is crate trained and does not have accidents when let out on a schedule. She is used to going outside every three or four hours and immediately after eating and napping, and she has learned to tell her foster when she needs to go out. She knows “sit,” is working on “shake,” is learning “no,” and is very treat motivated.
