Peter Pan is a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, estimated to be born in March 2026. He currently weighs 3 pounds and is expected to grow. Peter Pan was found abandoned on the streets of Houston with eight other puppies and is now being cared for in a foster home in Austin, Texas. He's a charming and curious pup, always ready for an adventure, but also enjoys a good nap and playtime with his siblings. Peter Pan has a gentle spirit and is known to bring a sweet, thoughtful presence to the pack.
Ideal Home
Peter Pan is looking for a family committed to helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. He is likely to do well with children, cats, and other dogs, provided introductions are done appropriately. However, due to his tiny size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised. His new family should also be prepared for the mystery of his mixed breeds and potential size when fully grown. Because he is so young, Peter Pan cannot be left alone for long periods. A home where someone is present most of the time is required. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, applications will only be considered if another adult in the household is available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned. As a young puppy, adopters should be prepared for regular veterinary check-ups and vaccinations.
Training & Support
Peter Pan is still working on potty training and crate training. His new family will need to provide consistent training, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and patience. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision.
