Bodhi is a sweet, calm, and playful 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who weighs about 30lbs. He's a bit of a chill guy who loves to nap, eat, and be with his foster family and their pets. Bodhi recently discovered bean bags and has a lot of fun with them! He's been working on his leash walking and stamina, and he's getting better every day. Bodhi is a certified couch potato but has been easy to introduce to new activities. He enjoys watching TV, especially sports, but might try to chase off any on-screen dinosaurs! Bodhi is hearing impaired, which means he sleeps soundly through loud noises and snores quite a bit. Despite being a bit out of shape, he loves walks and is getting more playful and energetic with daily improvements. He believes everyone he meets is a fan who wants to pet him and genuinely loves all humans and dogs.
Ideal Home
Bodhi needs a securely fenced yard, someone home at least part-time, a companion dog, and an experienced Cavalier owner. He would do best in a home without children under 6 years old.
Ongoing Health
Bodhi is up to date on his shots and had a dental procedure done. He is currently on a diet to help him reach a healthier weight.
Training & Support
Bodhi is not yet housebroken but is progressing well. He is not crate trained. He loves everyone he meets and is very food-motivated, which can be helpful for training. His foster family describes his snoring as sounding like power tools and his eating like a piglet.
