Ferguson

Ferguson is a 4-year-old French Bulldog with the sweetest, most loving personality you could imagine! He came to us from another rescue, having arrived unable to use his back legs. After a visit to the vet, we learned he has intervertebral disc disease, which caused weakness and pain. The good news is, he doesn't require surgery! In a truly inspiring turn of events, Ferguson has recently started to stand and walk, and he's getting stronger every day! Despite his challenges, Ferguson remains a friendly, playful pup who gets along well with other dogs and is always happy to greet you. This goofy boy has a journey ahead, but with his resilient spirit and endless affection, he's sure to thrive! We promised Ferguson the rest of his life would be the best, and we hope you can make that promise come true.

A home that can provide the love and support Ferguson needs as he continues to regain his strength.

Ongoing Health

Ferguson has intervertebral disc disease, which has caused him to lose the use of his back legs. He is now able to stand and walk and continues to gain strength daily. He does not require surgery at this time.

Training & Support

Ferguson is still working on building strength and mobility. Continued positive reinforcement and encouragement will be key to his ongoing recovery and well-being.

Transporation

Ferguson is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
