Ruby

Ruby is a 4-year-old Boxer/Pit mix with a heart full of love to give. She was surrendered by her owner due to his disability, and while she's a sweet girl, she's understandably sad and stressed about her current situation. Watching her miss her dad is tough, but we know with the right family, Ruby will blossom. She can be a little fearful of some men initially but warms up quickly. Ruby lived with other dogs and cats before and seems to like most of the dogs here, though a meet-and-greet would be best to ensure a good fit.

Ideal Home

Ruby would thrive in a home where she can get the love and attention she deserves. Because she can be a bit boisterous and has a tendency to knock people over, a home without very young children might be best.

Ongoing Health

Ruby is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Ruby can be fearful of some men initially and may need gentle introductions to new people. She's still adjusting to her new environment and will need patience and understanding to help her settle in and overcome her sadness from the transition.
