Toffee

Toffee is a 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, possibly a Vizsla mix, with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. She's a happy, playful, and affectionate girl who loves to romp with other dogs, play hard, and then settle in for cozy cuddle time. Toffee is dog and cat friendly, house and crate trained, and thrives in a home environment with routine. She can be a bit timid in new environments due to her sensitive nature, but with patience and encouragement, her confidence is growing rapidly. She's learning to love the outside world and all its adventures.

Ideal Home

Toffee would do best in a home with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog and a patient, understanding family willing to continue building her confidence. She would be happiest in a home without an infant or toddler, preferably with children aged 10+ who are dog-savvy. She is not comfortable around small dogs or puppies, despite her own size.

Ongoing Health

Toffee experienced fear of car rides but has undergone significant desensitization work and now enters the car willingly, understanding it leads to adventure. She may drool during travel but recovers quickly upon arrival.

Training & Support

While house and crate trained, Toffee's confidence in new situations is still developing. Patience, encouragement, and a consistent routine will be key to her continued success.
