A little about them
Meet Mya, a loving 9-month-old, 31-pound Beagle/Spaniel mix. She is exceptionally social with people and would love to be the center of her adopter’s world.
Mya came from a difficult situation and was one of 42 dogs found living in a home covered in feces and urine. Despite her background, she is affectionate, friendly, and eager for human companionship.
Ideal Home
Mya would be happiest and safest as the only dog. She can do fine with other dogs, but she guards her food and human food from them. If she lives with other dogs, she must be crated while people and dogs are eating. Food guarding can be managed with careful crate use.
Ongoing Health
Mya is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, current on preventatives, and heartworm negative.
Training & Support
Mya is still working on potty training. Her foster family takes her outside every few hours to help establish a routine, and patience will support her progress.
