About Coraline

Coraline is a sweet, curious, silly, and cuddly 6-month-old Doberman or Beauceron mix. Weighing 45 lbs now, she's expected to reach 85-90 lbs fully grown. Her quirky charm will have you laughing daily, especially with her favorite game of peek-a-boo! She's deeply people-oriented, following her humans like a shadow, but is never overly clingy. Coraline shows affection with sweet puppy kisses and gentle paw rests. She possesses a calm and balanced temperament, making her a wonderful work-from-home buddy, content to entertain herself quietly. Coraline is also social with people and other dogs, greeting them calmly before continuing to play. She's the perfect blend of playful yet laid-back, independent yet loving, and goofy yet intuitive – your little sidekick, shadow, and best friend all in one.

Ideal Home

Coraline would thrive in a home that enjoys a mix of adventure and relaxation, from leisurely walks to cozy evenings on the couch. She loves to be included in her family's daily life and needs a fenced yard for playtime. Because she can get nervous in busy areas and will be a very large dog, apartments and condos are not suitable. Coraline needs to live with another friendly, confident dog as she thrives with canine companionship. She would also do well in a home with older children and cat-friendly cats. Her ideal family will spend lots of quality time with her and love her unconditionally for her sweet, quirky, loyal personality.

Ongoing Health

Coraline is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary vet care while in rescue.

Training & Support

Coraline is potty and kennel trained. She is still mastering leash training and needs extra practice to boost her confidence on walks. She is very treat-motivated and will walk beside you with positive reinforcement. She alerts her foster when she needs to go outside and can use a dog door. A consistent potty schedule is recommended initially. If there isn't a dog door, a doggy doorbell can help her learn to notify you when she needs to go out.
