Meet Limelight Samoyeds. I have shown Samoyeds since 2005. I mainly show in conformation but in the past I have titled a dog in obedience and rally. I've also done some weight pull, lure coursing, and herding instinct tests with my dogs, but mainly they are my loved family members that hog the bed. One of my favorite thing about Samoyeds is how versatile they are. I breed for temperament, health, and structure to preserve this beautiful breed for future generations. To date(June 2024) I have bred 8 AKC Champions. One of those champions also holds the record for being the youngest Samoyed to earn a Companion Dog obedience title! He was 6 months and 23 days, so intelligence is there too! All my breeding dogs are x-rayed to be OFA certified for hips and elbows. I also get echocardiograms done to check their hearts. They see the Opthamalogist yearly. DNA tests are done to rule out RD/OSD, XL-PRA, and FEH. All my dogs' health testing is available for viewing on the OFA website. My puppies are raised in my living room and are the center of our world. My two children help socialize them everyday. We use Puppy Culture to raise the best puppies we can. My puppies see the vet at 8 weeks for a check up and first vaccinations, and are microchipped. Then they see the Opthamalogist for eye checks and then they can head to their new families after 9 weeks.
