Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, a one-year-old, 19-pound bundle of joy with a lot of Chihuahua in his mix! He absolutely loves to play with his squeaky toys and adores receiving lots of petting and attention. Duncan is a quiet and well-behaved companion who seems to be pretty house-trained and does well on a leash, though he could benefit from a little more training. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is ready to shower his new family with affection.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of attention and playtime. We do not adopt to homes with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has completed treatment according to The American Heartworm Society protocols and we typically find that dogs test negative within 4 to 6 months.

Training & Support

Duncan is generally well-behaved and house-trained, but could use a little more practice with leash walking and general training to build his confidence.
