STUDLEY (aka Stud Muffin)

Studley, a handsome 2-3 year old, is a wonderfully laid-back and therapeutic companion with a powerful presence. He's self-assured and a pleasure to be around, often enjoying quiet time observing the world from the backyard or taking in the sights on car rides and walks. Studley appreciates affection and your presence, though he's also perfectly content entertaining himself with tough chew toys, calming music, and a good view from a window. His daycamp leader describes him as having medium energy. He communicates clearly when he needs to go outside.

Ideal Home

Studley is looking for an experienced handler who can provide leadership and redirection when needed. He thrives in a home where he can relax and enjoys spending time outdoors. A securely fenced backyard is a must for Studley. He would also do well with someone who is home a good bit of the time, especially given his anxiety during thunderstorms and rain. Studley is great with people and does best with good-natured dogs, including smaller ones, provided proper introductions are made. He is not cat-friendly.

Training & Support

Studley is generally house-trained and rides well in a car. He is an excellent communicator and will bark to let you know he needs to go outside.
