Mary

Mary is a resilient soul with a past that has taught her caution, but she's blossomed beautifully during her time with us. For the first year and a half, she's been learning to trust and has made incredible progress. She now happily coexists with a pack of eight dogs, demonstrating a remarkable ability to adapt and connect. While she may initially be a little shy, she readily accepts new people once she feels comfortable in her surroundings. Mary is looking for a special adopter who understands her journey and can provide a stable, loving environment.

Ideal Home

Mary would thrive with an experienced handler who can appreciate her need for time and patience. A fenced-in yard is a must, providing her with a secure space to explore and feel safe. While another dog companion would be acceptable, Mary is also content being the sole canine in the household.

Ongoing Health

Mary is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, ensuring she's ready for her new life.

Training & Support

Given her past, Mary benefits from an adopter who is experienced with dogs and can offer consistent, gentle guidance. Her progress so far is a testament to her potential, and with the right support, she will continue to flourish.

Mary is currently located in Puerto Rico. Once adopted, she will be flown to Newark, NJ, where you will be able to meet her for pickup.
