Luna

Meet Luna! This delightful 1-year-8-month-old terrier mix weighs about 45 lbs and is bursting with joy. Luna is deaf, but she doesn't let that slow her down one bit! She loves to explore, play, cuddle, and be right in the middle of all the action. She's already mastered several hand signals like "sit," "stay," "down," "eat," "drink," and "spin," though her participation can sometimes depend on her excitement level, which we find totally understandable!

Sadly, Luna has been adopted and returned a few times. She was surrendered as a young puppy and later returned simply because she is deaf. Most recently, her owner faced a cancer diagnosis. Despite these challenges, Luna remains sweet, trusting, and incredibly eager to connect with people. She's patiently waiting for the right person to recognize her amazing qualities. Watching Luna navigate the world using her keen senses of sight, smell, and touch is truly special. She will thrive with a patient and consistent adopter who is excited to learn and grow with her.
