Maverick

Maverick is a sweet, timid girl who was born in August 2020 and weighs around 28 lbs. She is incredibly smart and curious, and her resilience is truly remarkable. Maverick was rescued from the devastating dog and cat meat trade in Cambodia, a tragic situation from which she was saved by Four Paws International. They shut down the slaughterhouse she was in, allowing her and many others to escape.

Ideal Home

Maverick would likely thrive in a home that understands her timid nature and can provide a calm, patient environment. Her curiosity will lead her to explore her new surroundings, and her intelligence will make her a joy to train.

Ongoing Health

Maverick has been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Maverick is house-trained. Continued positive reinforcement and gentle guidance will help her blossom into her confident self.

Transportation

Maverick is currently located in San Diego County, CA. We are happy to consider out-of-town applications and can arrange virtual playdates. We provide monthly transport to various locations in the Pacific Northwest. For other locations in the US and Canada, individual arrangements will need to be made.
