The Gallivanting Gem, Nami: Not Your Average Couch Potato
Meet Nami, our gorgeous tricolored mixed breed who's as athletic as she is adorable, weighing in at 56 lbs of pure joy. At 4 years young, Nami is a whirlwind of energy and intelligence, ready to bring excitement to her forever home. She's a quick learner, already mastering commands from 'sit' to 'stay' and even 'into your house' for kennel time.
Nami is the ultimate shadow, devotedly following her humans on all their adventures, big or small. She adores meeting new people and gets along well with her current canine housemates, though she does best with dogs who are her size and have a similar playful spirit. However, Nami's enthusiasm can be a bit much for smaller animals, so a home without cats or dogs under 25 lbs would be ideal.
This adventurous girl has a strong prey drive, making her a better fit for a securely fenced yard where she can explore and play safely, rather than off-leash adventures in a park. Nami is an independent and sometimes sassy lady, but she thrives with a confident handler who can positively channel her intelligence and energy.
Ideal Home
Nami would be happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard, perfect for her to sunbathe in after a good run. She's looking for an active family who enjoys an outdoorsy lifestyle as much as she does. While she hasn't been tested with very young children, she has shown she's good with teenagers who can respect her need for space and pace. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Nami and her new family.

Training & Support
Nami is highly trainable and knows many commands. She responds best to a confident handler who can channel her energy positively.

Nami is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week!
