Benny

Benny is a handsome 4-4.5-year-old neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing in at a solid 45-50 pounds. He's got a heart as big as his love for water, and a personality that's pure playful joy! Benny found himself at a rural shelter through no fault of his own, but he's ready to trade that for a lifetime of love. He's already got a head start with vaccinations, he's heartworm negative, crate trained, and fully potty trained – a real gem!

Ideal Home

Benny would be a fantastic companion for an active individual or family who enjoys a good game of frisbee and doesn't mind a little splash time! He's already shown he can play wonderfully with medium to large dogs, both male and female, and he even has a knack for de-escalating tension between pups. He's also comfortable being the star of the show as an only dog. While cats are unknown, a home without them would be ideal. He's not a fan of tie-outs or electric fences.

Benny is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Benny is crate and house-trained, making him a breeze to have around. He doesn't experience anxiety when left alone and rides well in the car. His intelligence and love for fetch make him a prime candidate for further training and fun activities!
