Whitaker

Whitaker is a 6-week-old, 9 lb bundle of joy who's a mixed breed of German Shepherd, American English Coonhound, and American Foxhound according to his DNA results. He's an Olympic-level champion at hanging with his humans, a huge fan of belly rubs and snuggles, and loves his favorite toys. Whitaker enjoys playtime and then happily naps when he's tired out. He sleeps quietly through the night in his pen, is doing well with wee-wee pad training, and rides nicely in the car. He loves playing with other dogs and is a big fan of people!

Ideal Home

Whitaker would thrive in a home where someone is around, as he's still a baby who needs company. Due to his breed, he cannot live in a home with cats. Children should be old enough to handle puppy mouthing, which is to be expected. He's looking for a family with previous dog experience who will continue his training.

Ongoing Health

Whitaker is microchipped, up to date with his vaccines, and will be neutered at six months old.

Training & Support

Puppy mouthing is to be expected, so guidance for children will be helpful. He is doing well with wee-wee pad training and is smart, so continued training will be beneficial.
