Stewie

Stewie is a 9-year-old, 55-pound boxer-hound mix who has truly mastered the art of lounging. He's a heat-seeking snuggle bug who thrives in cozy corners and on soft blankets. While he enjoys quiet relaxation, he also has bursts of athleticism and can be found galloping through the woods. Stewie loves people of all ages, including strangers and delivery drivers! He's a dog who wears sweaters and rocks them proudly, making him a great indoor companion. He is potty trained, crate trained, and not destructive.

Ideal Home

Stewie would do best in a quiet, country-style home where he can enjoy yard time without surprise encounters with neighborhood dogs. A secure fence is a must, as he has a high prey drive and is not subtle when he sees something worth chasing. He is a people dog and is ready for a solo gig, meaning he needs to be the only dog in the home. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Stewie's fur is minimal, so he might need sweaters to stay warm in cooler climates.

Training & Support

Stewie is not destructive, is potty trained, and crate trained. He is a people dog and has made it clear he prefers not to live with other dogs.

Transporation

Stewie is currently being fostered in Ontario and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing every other week.
