Meet Phillip, a charming 50-pound Staffy mix with a passion for plushie toys and a heart full of love! Phillip is a master of playtime, and his enthusiasm for fetch is matched only by his love for snuggles. He even aces bath time like the superstar he is!
Phillip can be a bit shy initially, but with encouragement, his confidence blossoms. He's working on his leash manners and learning to enjoy walks at a steady pace. Phillip has a knack for making friends with other dogs, having successfully socialized with pups of various sizes. He's also a social butterfly with humans, friendly towards men and women alike. However, he's still learning that raised hands can be for gentle pets, not something to be feared.
This sweet boy has a moderate to high energy level, so while he enjoys his downtime, he also thrives on daily exercise and mental stimulation, like puzzle toys. Phillip is crate-trained and doesn't dig, but he does have a strong bond with his chew toys, so supervised play is essential.
Phillip knows how to sit and is very treat-motivated, which is helping him progress with his training. He's looking for a patient and understanding home where he can continue to grow into a confident and happy companion.
Ideal Home
A home that will give Phillip the space and patience to continue growing into a confident, happy dog. A home with children 10 years and older is recommended to ensure the best fit.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions mentioned, but supervised play with chew toys is a must.
Training & Support
Phillip is working on his leash manners and building confidence. He's learning that hands are for petting, not threats, and is improving with his training, especially when treats are involved.
