Pawley, who was once known as "Bat Man" due to severe inflammation and hair loss around his eyes upon rescue, is now on the road to recovery and showing his true, sweet self! This gentle soul was a victim of cruelty and neglect, leading to fearfulness, but he has never been aggressive. With a soft voice and a gentle hand, Pawley is starting to wag his tail and even smile, revealing the loving, grateful, and sweet dog he is beneath his past hardships. He longs for a kind companion to show him the world isn't a scary place.
