Murray

Murray is a handsome one-year-old mixed breed boy, weighing in at 57 pounds. He has a sturdy build with the coloring of a Shepherd and a head that reminds us of a Boxer. His double dew claws on his rear legs suggest he might have some Anatolian Shepherd in his lineage! Murray was found as a stray, so his past is a mystery, but what we do know is that he's a gentle and sweet soul. He can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but with each day that passes, he's growing braver and realizing how much he is loved and cared for here.

Ideal Home

Murray is looking for a patient person or family who can give him the time and space he needs to adjust to his new surroundings. Because Murray has shown he can climb a 6-foot fence, his future adopters should be committed to regular leash walking or have a secure plan to keep him safely within a fenced yard.

Ongoing Health

Murray is up to date on all his vaccines and has tested negative for heartworm disease. His adoption fee includes a voucher for his mandatory neuter and microchip.

Training & Support

We are currently working with Murray on leash training and helping him feel more comfortable going through doorways. We believe that once he settles into a loving home and establishes a routine with his new people, his true personality will blossom!
