Beau

Hello there! I'm Beau, a super sweet boy with a special feature – I'm a tripod! But don't let that fool you; I'm just as playful and adventurous as ever! I absolutely love going on walks and spending time outdoors, and I even enjoy splashing around in the water. I'm house and kennel trained, and I get along wonderfully with the other dogs in my foster home. We love to play together, but we also enjoy relaxing as a pack. While I'm friendly with dogs, I do need a little extra time and careful introductions to make new furry friends. I'm a big fan of puzzle toys and dog-safe chews, and I do enjoy a good snuggle session too. I've tried to play with the cats in my foster home, but they're not really feeling it, so a home without cats or with very dog-savvy felines would be ideal.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a house, preferably with a fenced-in yard, as apartment living can be a bit overwhelming for me. However, a fenced yard isn't a dealbreaker since I enjoy my walks!

Ongoing Health

I do have some allergies and anxiety, for which I take medication. I'm a champ at taking my meds, and they help me feel my best!

Training & Support

I'm already house and kennel trained! I do need a little extra care when meeting new dogs to ensure I feel comfortable and secure.

• Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, a heartworm test, deworming, and microchip implantation.

Transportation

I'm currently located in Sioux Falls, SD. We are a foster-based rescue, so all animals are in foster homes. We can arrange transport to approved adopters.
