Romeo

Romeo is a handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd and Labrador mix who weighs about 55 lbs. He has a short, black and light brown coat and is already neutered and vaccinated. Romeo is a joyful and affectionate boy who loves human contact and is very huggable. He's intelligent, playful, and enjoys running. He was rescued as a puppy along with his sister, Julieta, after being found following a man who was trying to drive them away. They were scared and in need of help, so they were brought to the vet and hospitalized for days due to malnourishment and dehydration. Romeo has spent his life with a dedicated rescuer who cares for many other dogs. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Romeo is now looking for a stable, loving, and responsible home where he can finally experience the warmth of a family.

Ideal Home

Romeo is sociable with people and other dogs and enjoys human contact. He is not accustomed to crates or cats. He does bark at strangers, which may be something to consider.

Ongoing Health

Romeo is spayed and vaccinated and has no known special needs or health conditions.

Application Details:

Applications to adopt Romeo start by contacting us through Wags. You will be asked to:

• Fill out an adoption application form.
• Send photos of the home where the pet will live.
• Participate in a video conference to meet you, see your home, and introduce Romeo.
• Sign an adoption contract if the adoption is viable.
• Finalize the adoption fee prior to transport, which includes spay/neuter, complete vaccination, deworming, one month of flea and tick treatment, health certificate, and import certificate.
• Pay a transport fee, which ranges from $300-$350 USD depending on the delivery city/state.

Transportation

Romeo is currently located in Mexico and transportation is available. The transport fee will be paid by the adopter, either prior to or after delivery, depending on the transport company.
