Meet Violet! This sweet and incredibly loyal girl is about 1.5 years old and ready to find her forever home. Violet has overcome a difficult past, having been found roaming the streets of Houston, TX. Despite her experiences, she remains a trusting and loving companion. She's a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface to be near you, and her tongue is often sticking out in pure joy! Violet is deeply loyal and has a special love for playing tug-of-war with the hose.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter who is willing to continue her training to build her confidence. A canine friend would be wonderful for her, as she gains confidence from other dogs and is good with dogs of all sizes. While kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and appears to be in good health.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows "sit" and is making great progress with place and crate training. She is terrified of squeaky toys, so be mindful of that!
