Mona

Meet Mona! This gorgeous 2-year-old Mountain Cur mix is a sweet, smart, and active girl who was surrendered with other dogs through no fault of her own. Her previous owner fell on hard times and knew these dogs deserved loving forever homes. Now, Mona is settling in, learning to be a dog, and proving to be an energetic goofball who is absolutely obsessed with stuffed toys! Volunteers describe her as wonderful, independent in a good way, enjoying both affection and her own space. She walked well on a leash, was eager to sniff everything, and did a great job sitting at a restaurant, mostly listening when asked to return to her spot. We promised Mona the rest of her life would be the best of her life, and we hope you can make that happen for her!

Ideal Home

Mona is looking for a home where she can continue to blossom. She gets along with other dogs.

Mona is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mona is still learning and is eager to please. She did well on leash and listened when asked to return to her spot during an outing. She enjoys stuffed toys and being active.

Transportation

Mona is currently located in South Carolina, but we transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
