Lluvia

Lluvia is a sweet and playful 8-month-old Labrador mix who is ready to find her forever family! She's a happy, energetic girl who loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her favorite toys. Lluvia is social with other dogs and people, and while she might be a little cautious in new situations, she's never aggressive. She enjoys cuddles and pets and is sure to bring a lot of joy to her new home. Lluvia will grow to be around 32-38 lbs.

Ideal Home

Lluvia would thrive in a home with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. She needs a home with a fenced backyard. Families should have a genuine intention to rescue a dog, understanding the needs of rescued animals and be prepared to provide protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience are a must.

Ongoing Health

Lluvia has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, and microchipped. She has also had a 4DX test, a negative heartworm test, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection. She comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period due to past experiences, and patience is crucial.

Training & Support

Lluvia is not house-trained and will require consistent training and patience from her new family. It's important to provide a safe, loving environment, establish a routine, and set clear boundaries to help her feel secure.

• Sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which helps cover vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.

Transportation

Lluvia is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast. Transportation is available door-to-door via a contracted transport company. This service is scheduled for 3-4 trips per year with a fee of $400 USD. The transport team will escort pets across the border and provide real-time updates throughout the journey.
