Meet Spooky! This approximately 7-year-old, 65 lb. female Pit Bull Terrier is a gentle, loyal soul who is happiest right by your side. Spooky's name might sound a little spooky, but she's the definition of an easygoing companion who has spent far too long waiting for a family to call her own. She was adopted from a shelter by a teenager and ended up in a home where the resident dog never accepted her. Through it all, Spooky remained a loving, gentle girl. She might need slow, thoughtful introductions to other dogs, but with her people, she falls in love instantly. Spooky's favorite place is wherever you are! She adores her people and is happiest simply being by your side, whether she's cuddling, relaxing on the couch, or riding shotgun on a car ride. She is wonderfully easy to live with, gentle with children, not destructive in the home, and has a calm, affectionate nature. She has a sweet quirk of carrying a tennis ball everywhere and will often drift off to sleep with it in her mouth. Spooky enjoys walks but isn't looking for marathons; a short stroll is perfect for her, followed by cuddling on the couch. She has a heart that makes people fall in love—she's sweet, affectionate, loyal, and incredibly grateful for kindness. She's not looking for a perfect home, just a family willing to open their hearts and give her the chance she's been waiting for. If you're searching for an easy, devoted best friend who will be your cuddle buddy, road trip companion, and biggest fan, Spooky is ready to fill that role.
