Meet Flacko! Flacko is a handsome, 8-month-old male German Shepherd mix who currently weighs around 40lbs. He's a certified good boy who absolutely loves people and is eager to make friends with other dogs. He's even trying to win over the resident cat, though his exuberance might be a bit much for some felines. Flacko is a quick learner and a real pleaser, just waiting for his forever human to discover his wonderful personality.
This energetic pup can be a bit wild during play with his dog friends (ranging from 15-60lbs), but he's excellent at reading their cues and respecting their boundaries. He received an A++ from his doggie daycare playgroups and enjoys snuggling with smaller puppy pals. Flacko has also been great with his foster's 10-year-old nephew and would likely enjoy having human siblings to play with. He is currently working on his puppy manners, such as jumping and leash pulling, so he'll need supervision around younger children.
After a fun play session, Flacko loves to snuggle with his favorite people and will happily roll over for belly rubs. He's a huge fan of pool time and can entertain himself with his favorite toys. Flacko is house and crate trained and will thrive with an experienced adopter who can help him confidently explore the world. This good boy is ready to win your heart, and we can't wait to see him grow in a loving home!

Transporation
Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
