Mavis is a 6/7-year-old Maltese mix who is looking for a family to spoil her with the love she deserves. She is the ultimate lap dog and shadow dog, happiest when curled up next to her person on the couch or sleeping in bed with them at night.

After spending many years surviving on the streets, Mavis is enjoying the comforts of indoor life. She is very loving, affectionate, and great with kids. She also gets along well with other dogs, though she does have some food resource guarding and prefers to eat separately from other pets.

Mavis is missing a few teeth from her years on the streets, but that doesn't slow her down. While she hasn't been tested with cats, we think she would do well with them based on her gentle and easygoing personality.
