Bowie

Bowie is a six-pound, eight-week-old bundle of joy looking for his forever family! He's happy, playful, smart, funny, and incredibly cuddly, with a friendly nature that makes him human-friendly too. While we're sure there's some Black Lab in his mix, his exact parentage is a mystery – but what we do know is that he's absolutely wonderful! Bowie loves to romp in the yard, wrestle with his favorite toys, and enjoys a good chew. He makes confident eye contact, adores being held, and is so in tune with people, it's like he understands every word! He's healthy, alert, and super smart, getting along famously with humans of all ages and dogs of any size. This sweet pup is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog and will undoubtedly be a treasured member of his lucky family.

Ideal Home

Bowie would thrive in a home where he can share his abundant energy and love. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is great with people of all ages.

Ongoing Health

Bowie is healthy and up-to-date on his vaccinations. As with most puppies, he will require continued Distemper/Parvo vaccines, a Rabies Vaccine, and deworming, which will be the adopter's responsibility.

Training & Support

Bowie is a very smart puppy who is eager to please. Continued socialization and positive reinforcement training will help him thrive.

Your Veterinarian must confirm with Wags that your past/ present dogs' Heartworm Testing is up to date and Heartworm preventative has been purchased/scripted, along with a current Rabies vaccine. Call your Veterinarian before applying to give permission for them to release information to Wags, and check that all their records are complete and accurate.

Bowie is currently being fostered near Gurnee, Illinois. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
