Blackie is a sweet, strong, large male Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix looking for a loving indoor home. He enjoys companionship and previously lived indoors with children.

Ideal Home

Blackie should live indoors with a family committed to keeping him as a companion. He has lived with children and got along with dogs his size; interactions with smaller dogs have not been evaluated. He is not considered suitable for a home with cats, as he barks at them and should not be trusted with them.

Ongoing Health

Blackie is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated. He has received a dental checkup, one-year heartworm prevention, and one-year flea and tick prevention. His heartworm test was negative.

Training & Support

Blackie is leash trained, kennel trained, and housebroken.
