Huey

Meet Huey, a charming boxer mix born in November 2024, weighing in at a sturdy 50 lbs. Huey is a bundle of love, loyalty, and entertainment, always ready for an adventure or a cozy nap. He's a bright boy who loves to learn and thrives on positive reinforcement.

Ideal Home

Huey would be happiest in a home with a yard, ideally located in the suburbs. He needs to be the only dog in the household, as he can be selective with his canine companions and sometimes forgets his manners around smaller dogs.

Ongoing Health

Huey is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Huey is kennel and house trained, and he already knows several commands like sit, stay, down, watch me, and touch. He's working on his leash skills and does well with his Halti harness. He's been attending a daycare to improve his social skills in small playgroups. His current foster is an ARC trainer who is dedicated to his continued development, and ARC is committed to supporting Huey and his new family post-adoption.
