She navigates the world with confidence and enthusiasm, even though she is deaf. We use a vibration collar to get her attention, and she responds beautifully. She's a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! Mary loves her snacks and can sometimes be selective about sharing her treasures. Her life motto might be: "What's mine is mine, and what's yours looks interesting too." She experiences life at full volume, even if she can't hear it, excelling at bird watching, digging, and climbing on things she probably shouldn't. When something captures her attention, the rest of the world can disappear, and watching her investigate life is both impressive and entertaining. She is kennel trained and about 70% potty trained, sometimes getting too much fun outside to remember to go potty.
