Kamoku & Kasumi

Meet Kamoku and Kasumi, a sweet bonded pair who have been together through thick and thin! Kamoku, a 14-year-old Dachshund mix, weighs about 17 lbs. Kasumi, a 5-year-old Cairn Terrier mix, is currently 38 lbs and working towards a goal weight of 22 lbs. These two were deeply loved by their previous owner, who cherished them enough to create a decade's worth of holiday photo cards documenting their special bond. Unfortunately, when their owner's health declined, no one in her life stepped up to care for Kamoku and Kasumi, leading them to be surrendered to a shelter.

When separated, Kamoku lost his appetite, and Kasumi became inconsolable. It's clear they are a true pair and need to be adopted together. When they're with each other, they are mellow, affectionate, and coexist peacefully with other pets.

Kamoku and Kasumi are ready to be your loyal companions and will thrive in a home where they can stay together. They have a history of doing well with children, cats, and other dogs.
