Buddy

Buddy is a truly sweet and resilient boy who, along with his sister Bulma, was rescued from the Carson Animal Shelter in dire condition. It was evident they had never known kindness. While Bulma suffered a severe neck injury, Buddy, though unscathed, was severely underweight and had lost most of his fur due to a widespread skin infection and untreated IBD. Despite his difficult past, Buddy is as sweet as pie and a complete sweetheart who loves all dogs. He still has some hair loss, which is a testament to his journey and strength. Buddy is currently on a special homemade diet to manage his IBD and help him regain muscle and weight, and we promise he is worth every bit of it!

Ideal Home

Buddy would thrive in a home that can continue his specialized diet and provide him with the love and care he deserves. He loves other dogs and is good with children of all ages.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is being treated for IBD with a specific homemade diet. He also experiences some hair loss, which may or may not grow back.

Training & Support

Buddy is house-trained and knows basic commands. His ongoing dietary needs and potential for continued hair loss are the main considerations.
