DingoGirl

DingoGirl is a sweet but very fearful young female Carolina Dog mix. She was adopted from a Facebook post with her sister, but unfortunately, her previous adopter was unable to manage her fearfulness and aggression when protecting her sister. DingoGirl is still very much a wild child and needs significant socialization and patience. She misses her sister dearly and would likely benefit from a home where she can learn to trust and feel safe.

Ideal Home

DingoGirl would do best in a quiet, stable home where she can build trust at her own pace. Because she is still quite feral and fearful, an experienced owner who understands how to work with shy and potentially reactive dogs is crucial. She may do best in a home without a lot of foot traffic or a lot of new people coming and going.

DingoGirl has no known health issues at this time.

Training & Support

DingoGirl is currently quite feral and very afraid. She will need a dedicated owner committed to positive reinforcement training and socialization to help her gain confidence and learn to interact with the world in a safe way. Her past behavior of aggression when protecting her sister indicates a need for careful management and expert guidance on how to redirect and build her confidence.
