Onyx Baby the Sweet Boy Special

Onyx Baby is an absolutely adorable 7-month-old pittie mix who weighs 33 lbs. He has the sweetest personality and a face that will melt your heart with his soulful eyes and perfect floppy ears. Onyx is a rescue, so while we believe he's about 7 months old, we can't guarantee his exact age or breed.

Ideal Home

Onyx would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and relax, but he's also happy being a couch potato. He truly believes he would be his happiest self with another dog in the home, as he loves to follow his foster siblings around. We haven't seen him with children yet, but we're happy to test him to see how he does!

Onyx Baby is a healthy boy who has been vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Onyx is a smart boy with a lot of potential! He already knows "sit" and takes treats gently. He's eager to please, making him a perfect candidate for further training, which will be a fun bonding experience. He is crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he may have an occasional accident if left alone for extended periods.

Transporation

Onyx is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and access to a private Facebook event page for adopters. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
