Ideal Home
Lentil Lou would thrive in a home with a semi-active family who enjoys neighborhood walks and is looking for a super affectionate companion. She'd be happiest in a home with children 12 and older. A backyard would be wonderful for her to stretch her legs and enjoy the sunshine.
Ongoing Health
Lentil Lou is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms. She is spayed and microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Lentil Lou is a smart and eager-to-please girl who is treat-motivated and already knows how to sit. She walks fairly nicely on a leash, though she may pull occasionally out of excitement. She responds well to gentle reminders and is comfortable tandem walking with other dogs. She is crate trained and potty trained. With patience, consistency, and treats, training with Lentil Lou will be a fun and rewarding bonding experience.
