Meet Meka, your gentle and loving best friend! This sweet hound-mastiff mix is just shy of 5 years old and has a heart full of love, always ready to brighten your day. Meka is incredibly friendly and eager to meet new people, spreading happiness wherever he goes. He's food-motivated and loves to please, making him a perfect candidate for fun training sessions and delicious treats. Meka would be overjoyed to stay with his sister, Kalena, but his biggest wish is simply to find a place to call his forever home.

Ongoing Health
All vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping, is covered by the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Meka is food-motivated and eager to please, which will be a great asset for training. He will require continued training efforts and understanding, as is common with rescue dogs, but he is well on his way to being the best dog he can be!

Transporation
Meka is currently located in Angleton, TX. He is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport buses are equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will be able to follow along on his journey through a private Facebook Event page, with photos, updates, and constant communication. Our Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location to you.
