About Ned
Hi, I'm Ned! I'm a handsome boy with a beautiful coat that looks black but shines a rich brown in the sun. My little white-tipped toes are super cute, and I've finally grown into my long nose and ears. While I might look like I have a serious expression and a distinguished goatee, I'm actually a world-class snuggler and a total goofball! I came to Minnesota with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky Day, as "The Three Amigos."
I'm a smart cookie and already know "sit," "off," and "come." I'm working on "down," "stay," and "wait," and I think attending training classes with you would be a fantastic way for us to bond! I love to chase anything that rolls, play tug-of-war with my favorite unstuffed toys, and go on treat-finding missions. I'm getting much better about not having accidents inside, but it's important to watch for my signals! I also sleep soundly next to my foster mom at night, and I'd love to continue that tradition in my forever home.
My foster mom calls me "Jaws" because I love to wrestle and show off my teeth and gums, making myself look bigger and tougher – she thinks it's hilarious! I also go by "Snuffles" because I use a Snuffle Mat for my meals to slow down my enthusiastic eating. I'm a fast drinker, so my water is rationed, but I promise I'm worth the effort! I'm not a fan of the cold, but I do enjoy looking dapper in cute coats.
I'm friendly with kids and have a 10-year-old human foster sister who adores me. I might bark and jump a little when meeting new people, but I'm eager to show everyone I'm a good boy. I also get along well with other dogs and love to wrestle and play with them. However, I really thrive with canine companionship and look to my foster brother for support and comfort. I'm not built to be an only dog, so I need a home with at least one other dog to snuggle, play, and feel secure with.
Ideal Home
I would love a family that has plenty of time to spend with me. While I understand kenneling during the workday is okay, I need lots of playtime, walks, and training when you're home. I also dream of sleeping in your bed and snuggling on the sofa – I'm a professional cuddler! I'm not a fan of the cold weather, so a family that's open to dressing me up in cute coats would be purr-fect. I do need another dog to live with for support and companionship.

Training & Support
I'm working on "down," "stay," and "wait." I can be a little naughty sometimes, but I'm learning quickly and want to be "Nifty Ned"! I sometimes like to explore the tops of surfaces, but I'm learning what "off" means. I have a big bark for my size and can sound a bit high-pitched when scared, but this doesn't happen often.
