Rocky

Rocky is a goofy pup who loves toys and spending time with people! This handsome boy recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and showed himself to be a fantastic hiking and walking companion. He handled the leash and harness beautifully, had plenty of stamina for a long hike, and was perfectly content to pause and rest when his companion needed a break. Rocky is incredibly affectionate and gave big dog hugs throughout their time together. He rides wonderfully in the car - calm, quiet, and happy to either watch the world go by or settle into his seat. He's treat-motivated and got a good start on sit in just one afternoon! Rocky is a young, 3-year-old, 52.5lb neutered male.

Ideal Home

Rocky can be a bit overwhelmed by young, noisy, or busy children, so a mature home would be ideal for him. He may take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others. He would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to any potential canine housemates and may prefer to be the only dog in his home. A dog introduction is required.

Ongoing Health

Rocky has been neutered and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rocky is treat-motivated and has already learned to sit with some positive reinforcement! Any new dog will benefit from continued positive training and socialization.
