Honey

Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, always happy to be by your side for cuddles. Honey Comb loves to be with her humans, but she's also independent and can entertain herself, making her an excellent work-from-home companion. When it's time for fun, she's ready for zoomies, neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys. She greets everyone with a big smile and a wagging tail, and her signature move is the "stop, drop, and roll" for belly rubs. Honey Comb has excellent manners, is smart, and learns routines quickly. She's respectful around food and a joy to live with.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. A fenced-in backyard is a must for playing fetch and sunbathing. She would prefer a quieter suburban or rural area over a busy city, as she loves nature trails and hikes. Public dog parks are not recommended. She would love to have some human siblings to share her love with. A feline-free home is recommended, and due to her happy tail wags, a home with children aged 4 and up is advised.

Ongoing Health

Honey Comb is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary vet care while in our care.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She communicates her need to potty by "tap dancing" by the door. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. She is happy to sleep in a kennel but would love to sleep with her forever family or on a dog bed next to the bed.

Transportation

Honey Comb is in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations. Please visit wags.com/transport-locations for more information. Transports are monthly, and adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported.
