Ozzie

Hi, I'm Ozzie! I'm a charming 1.5-year-old, 16 lb Pug with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure. I used to live with a pack of my relatives, and we didn't get to experience the great outdoors. Now, I'm in a foster home where I'm learning all about the joys of a yard and how to be a well-behaved pup! I've made a lot of progress, but I'm still eager to learn more. I love to play, especially tug-of-war, but sometimes I get a little too excited, so letting me "win" is a great way to keep our play sessions fun and positive. I enjoy the company of other dogs and have found a new love for Nylabones. Cuddling up with my people is one of my favorite pastimes, and I also enjoy surveying my domain from a high perch on a chair. I'm getting used to my collar and leash, and I really appreciate all the attention I'm getting. I'm crate-trained, and with a little patience, I'll master house training in my forever home. I've been wearing a belly band as part of my training.

Ideal Home

A home where I can continue my training and learn the ropes of being a beloved family member. Due to my playful exuberance, I might not be the best fit for very young children.

Training & Support

I'm working on my leash manners and house training. Continuing positive reinforcement and consistent routines will help me succeed. Remember, letting me win at tug is a great way to manage playtime!
