Duke is a sleek, handsome 38-pound fella who we believe is a blend of Pointer and Border Collie. He's the perfect medium size, sturdy enough for a hike but compact enough for snuggles. Duke is a true delight with a heart of pure gold, ready to be your ultimate hang-out buddy. Whether you're working or relaxing, he's there to offer moral support and keep you company. He's already a pro at making his foster family fall head over paws for him, and you'll see why when you meet him!
Ideal Home
Duke dreams of a home with a securely fenced-in yard where he can romp and play. While he enjoys company, a busy apartment life with noisy hallways and elevators isn't his vibe. He'd be happiest in a quiet neighborhood where he can leisurely explore and enjoy the simple pleasures of sniffing every blade of grass.
Ongoing Health
Duke is a healthy pup. His adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, preventative treatments, and microchipping.
Training & Support
Duke is already a gold star student! He is crate trained and has mastered potty training, with no accidents to report. He's also been wonderfully gentle and patient with children as young as six months old. Duke is a social butterfly with other dogs and would love a home with a canine sibling to play with. We haven't yet assessed his compatibility with cats, but we can arrange a meet-and-greet to see how he does.

Transportation
Duke is currently in a foster home in Texas. We offer nationwide transport through our USDA-certified system, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A transportation surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
