Meet Grace! This bubbly and sweet young girl is ready for a new leash on life after a very rough start. She was rescued as a stray after raising her babies under a fallen tree in the Texas summer heat. Thanks to a caring street dog feeder, Grace and her pups were brought to the rescue, and it's clear why they were thought to be too cute and sweet to be left on the streets! Grace made plenty of friends at the rescue, both two-legged and four-legged, and has already captured a few hearts. She loves playtime, squeaky toys, cuddling with her pup pals, and doing zoomies in the courtyard.
Grace is a 35 lb. Cattle dog/Staffy/Vizsla mix with an estimated birthday of July 1, 2023. Although she looks like a Vizsla/Staffy/Bully mixed breed, she has strong herding tendencies. She adores being near people and prefers to have them in a group, showering everyone with affection. However, she'll playfully "herd" anyone who tries to walk away!

Grace would do best in a home with people who are experienced with herding dog breeds.

Grace is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee, with pick-up locations potentially varying and including nearby states. We coordinate with transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track their dog's transport via the Life360 app and receive updates.
